Tell it the weight.
Say how much you are lifting, and the planned voice interface will add it to your workout.
A fitness coach built into your training wear.
Demson is developing a sensor-integrated shirt and leggings that count your reps, track your workouts, and provide spoken form cues as you train.
How it works02 / Why Demson
As a set progresses, changes in depth, balance, or bracing can be difficult to notice. A personal trainer can provide immediate feedback, but many people train without one.
Demson is designed to give solo lifters a personal-coaching experience: guidance during each set and a record of what they did afterward.
03 / Sensors and coaching
Fabric sensors measure how the outfit stretches. Software interprets those signals to count reps and identify changes in your movement.
Say how much you are lifting, and the planned voice interface will add it to your workout.
The outfit is designed to track your movement and count each rep automatically.
Your coach will provide brief spoken feedback when it detects a change in your form.
Companion app
The planned app will save your exercises, weights, sets, and reps. It will also organize your training split so you can review past workouts and see what you trained each day.
04 / The outfit
Demson’s planned outfit combines a long-sleeve compression shirt and leggings with integrated fabric stretch sensors. Put it on, connect your earbuds, and start your workout.
The outfit is planned as breathable, fully washable compression wear. Its electronics will use a magnetic charger, similar to the charging connection on a smartwatch.
05 / Development roadmap
Demson is in development. The lower-body prototype comes first; coaching software and the complete outfit remain planned.
Testing sensor fabrication, rep counting, joint-angle tracking, and cue timing during squats.
Connecting spoken form cues, verbal weight entry, and automatic workout records.
Extending the system to a washable long-sleeve shirt and leggings for more strength exercises.
